At Humankind Works, we respect your privacy and data protection rights and recognize the importance of protecting the personal data we collect and process.

This Privacy Policy is designed to help you to understand what personal data we collect about you and how we use and share it.

When we refer to Humankind Works, we mean 3101, Lda, a company registered in Portugal with a registered address at Rua Centro Empresarial do Cavaco 125, Centro Empresarial da Feira, 4520-630 São João de Ver.

The Privacy and Data Protection Policy aims to identify privacy protection measures with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of personal data, including the personalized management tools for personal data provided by users.

3101 maintains a constant concern for the protection of the privacy of personal data and a preventive action regarding the security of the site and the protection of the data of its users and visitors. As a project by 3101, Humankind Works privacy policies fall under 3101 responsibility.

To reinforce the guarantees of the confidentiality of personal data, new data protection measures were implemented, both in terms of verifying the legitimacy of the use of personal data processed as in terms of ensuring compliance with the rights granted to the data subjects. In this context, and through the specialization of customer support channels, 3101, Lda, aims to promote a clearer and more objective communication of the purposes underlying the processing of personal data and the transparency of processing operations.

Thus, the information contained in this text is intended to convey, clearly and unambiguously, the content of the privacy policy and protection of personal data that will be processed under the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation in force (hereinafter GDPR) and delimited by the content of the business relationship to be established between the data subject and 3101, Lda.

3101, Lda, takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data.

The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated. In addition to 3101, Lda, in some cases, the Data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of this Website (administration, sales, marketing, legal, system administration) or external parties (such as third-party technical service providers, mail carriers, hosting providers, IT companies, communications agencies) appointed, if necessary, as Data Processors by 3101, Lda.  3.3.  Retention time

Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been collected for.

Whenever a User accesses this website, data on that activity are temporarily stored and processed in a log.

The tracking tool employed to analyze use of this website is configured to ensure that no personal data are gathered.

Users’ IP addresses are also anonymous, so that it is not possible to track the activity of natural persons.

Even so, if you do not wish your activity on the website to be recorded and analyzed, you can turn on the "Do not track" option on your browser. When you switch this option on, your browser sends a message to our website, informing that you do not want your activity to be tracked.

Personal Data collected for purposes related to the performance of a contract between 3101, Lda, and the User shall be retained until such contract has been fully performed.

Personal Data collected for the purposes of 3101, Lda’s legitimate interests shall be retained as long as needed to fulfill such purposes. 3101, Lda, may be allowed to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever the User has given consent to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn. Furthermore, 3101, Lda, may be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever required to do so for the performance of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority.

Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right of access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after expiration of the retention period.

Squarespace (Squarespace, Inc)
Squarespace is a platform provided by Squarespace, Inc. that allows the 3101 to build, run and host this Website. Meta Pixel
Meta Pixel (previously known as Facebook Pixel) is a Meta Business tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. that tracks visitors activity on websites, through a piece of Javascript code. This tool allows 3101 to measure and optimise ad impact, and build targeted audiences for our future ad campaigns. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, i.e., we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Meta, in accordance with Meta’s Data Usage Policy https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/.

Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus guarantees compliance with European data protection legislation.
Personal Data processed: hashed user contact information (name, email address, phone number), activity across meta technologies (pages user and friends like, information from your Facebook and Instagram profile, content you create or interact with across Facebook and Instagram, places you check in using Facebook), activity with other businesses when you add your phone number or email adress (email newsletters that you signed up, purchases at retail stores, coupon or discont signed up), activity on other websites and apps (web pages that you viewed, mobile app downloads, adding products to shopping carts or making a purchase), your location (where you connect to the internet, where you use your phone, your location from your Facebook and Instagram profile).

Google Analytics
Google Analytics is a web analytics tool provided by Google LCC that produces in-depth insight into 3101 website and online performance.
Personal Data processed: IP addresses, uniques IDs and ClientIDs (cookie identifiers), device identifier.

Stripe is a payment processing software provided by Stripe, Inc., that allows 3101 to accept payments online, send payouts, and manage the business online.

Moloni is a commercial management provided by Moloni, Lda, that allows 3101 to invoice, stocks, deliveries, and bank accounts management.

Butter is a virtual collaboration platform provided by MeetButter ApS, that allows 3101 to facilitate collaborative sessions, like workshops, training sessions, events and webinars, among others.
Personal Data processed: account information (email address, phone number, name, profile picture), if User chooses to sign up with an external authentication service - e.g., Google Sign-in - Butter will store email address, name and profile image from that Google account, usage information (functionality that is being used, how often it is being used, the location therein, and the email of the users), cookies if applicable, and log data (IP address, browser type, operating system, the referring we page, pages visited, location, mobile carrier, device and applications IDs, search terms, and cookie information.

Wonder.me is a virtual workspace and allows 3101 (remote) teams to work side-by-side.
Personal Data processed: when visiting the website (IP address, date/time of access, name and url of the accessed type, browser type and version, computer’s operating system, name of your access provider, geographical origin), when using our services (username, picture, audio, video), when setting up a user account (email address, picture), when using their contact form (email address, query and a query subject, and attachments if applicable), when signing up to a paid plan (email address, first and last name, company address, company bank account details, and phone number), when creating a new space (first and last name, email address, phone number, and information about the company you work for)

Circle.so is an online community software provided by CircleCo, Inc., that allows 3101 to create a community platform to engage its community.
Personal Data processed: contact information (name, email address), identifitiers, credit card information, record of payment transaction, purchase history, information and content created by the User on circle, IP address, device information, Internet service provider, type of mobile devise you use, UDID, identifiers associated with browser cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies.

Coda.io is a document collaboration platform provided by Coda Project, Inc., that allows 3101 to store different type of data.
Personal Data processed: registration information (name, email address, password, job title, company name, business contact details), payment information (credit card and payment-related information), troubleshooting and support (contact or authentication information, data about the state or condition of your device(s), contact of the chats)These services have the purpose of hosting and running key components of this Website, therefore allowing the provision of this Website from within a unified platform. Such platforms provide a wide range of tools to 3101, Lda – e.g. analytics, user registration, commenting, database management, e-commerce, payment processing – that imply the collection and handling of Personal Data.

Whereby is a videoconference platform provided by Whereby AS, that allows 3101 to host different types of meetings, such as workshops, training sessions, events, among others.Personal Data processed: user account information (display name, profile picture added, email address or phone number provided, and if signed up with an external authentication service, its email address, name and profile image url), room information (room name), transaction information when purchased a paid version of the services provided by Whereby (credit card information, billing email, banking information, location at the time of transaction and/or a billing address), usage information (IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and website navigation paths, and timing, frequency, and pattern of service use), and product analytics data (logged activity when user interacts with Whereby website or apps, when a page or a room is visited or where a conversation happens - Whereby will never collect or record the content in conversations). Some information may be accessible to Whereby’s embedded customer’s support team or administrators via admin dashboard: technical log data (IP Address, address of the wab page visited withing the service, browser type and settings, the date and time the Services were used, information about browser configuration and plugins, language preferences, and cookie data), device information (type of device, operating system, device settings, application IDs, unique device identifiers, and crash data), location information (business address submitted by your employer, if applicable, or IP address from browser or device), customer support information (account information, room name, transaction or usage information), product & marketing communication (reviews completed by the user about their experience using Whereby products), public professional information (if on a plan for professional use, information stored in a public LinkedIn profile), service and transactional notifications (email), and integrations with external services (integration title, thumbnail, and dates).

Intercom's Services are a suite of messaging software-as-a-service solutions offered through a single platform. The Services are designed to enable Customer to manage communications with People through the entire lifecycle of their relationship with Customer and to provide a Dashboard for accessing and managing Customer Data regarding those People. Customer may import and export Customer Data between the Services and certain Third-Party Platforms through supported integrations.
